With innovative and accessible programs, we help residents engage in healthy behaviors during all stages of life. From prenatal care in our WIC clinics to exercising after a fall – and everything in between – we strive to

meet changing needs and provide compassionate, preventative services. Our six pillars of health and wellbeing represent the types of initiatives and services we focus on as a public hospital district. United General District 304 is now an official pick-up site for Viva Farms Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.

Subscribe to receive weekly boxes of fresh-picked, organic produce, grown by the farmers in their program.

It's official! Yesterday, Skagit County Commissioners signed a proclamation in support of Men's Health Month, recognizing the unique health needs of local men, including around mental health.

Our in-person training program prepares childcare givers between the ages of 11-16 with the knowledge and skills to handle a wide range of scenarios with confidence.

Varsity in Volunteerism offers students an opportunity to impact their local community and gain important skills for work and life!

Guided by a ViV coach at each school, students develop communication skills, job readiness, and discover career interests while completing various volunteer opportunities.

Students who complete 100 hours or more of service are awarded a varsity letter at the end of the school year.

Since 2011, students in Skagit County have contributed over 100,000 hours of service.

Great News! Eligible school-age children in Washington can get aka - $120 per child in grocery benefits during the summer. This is an addition to existing summer meals and SNAP benefits, as part of USDA’s SUN Summer Nutrition Program for Kids. Together, these benefits help fuel children during the summer months when school is out. If children are on SNAP or Free/Reduced school lunch, they will be automatically enrolled.
