First established in 1929 as Hardy Funeral Home, Harold Hardy and J. Close became partners and established Hardy-Close Funeral Home in 1981. Harold Hardy passed away December 25, 1995 and J.B. Close passed away on June 5, 2006. Hardy -Close Funeral Home was later purchased by Schoppenhurst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in 2013, and the tradition of compassionate care continues today. We are proud to serve our families in the Shepherdsville and Bullitt County area!
