Join the Huntington High School Student Council for our Sickle Cell Color Run on September 19! Walk, jog, or run as we come together for an exciting, color-filled event that raises awareness and supports those affected by sickle cell disease.

❤️ Half of the proceeds will benefit the Sickle Cell Association.

This marked the Class of 2027’s final first-day sunrise as high school students. This is such a special group, and I am incredibly proud of the young men and women they are becoming. I’m excited to see what this year has in store for them as they continue their journey toward senior year.

Class of 2028, your future is bright—keep rising, keep shining, and make every moment count!

Thank you to Pastor Gregory Shyne, Pastor Antonio Dixon Sr., Mr. Carlton Hamilton, and Mrs. Leslie Hammond for coming out and pouring into our students. A special thank-you also goes to Kesha McClendon, Paula Ellison and Tiffany King-Franklin for helping organize and support this meaningful event. 💙

Summer just got a whole lot busier!!! HHS Student Council had their first Leadership meeting at Walk-ons and the Class of 2027 has big plans to make their senior year truly epic.

Service, leadership, and community involvement are at the heart of what we do, and our students are always ready to step up and lend a helping hand. Because of a snowstorm and a water pipe burst earlier this year, we had to press pause on our Adopt-a-Senior for winter sports. But good news… we’re bringing it back bigger and better by celebrating both our winter and spring seniors together!

We’d love for you to join in by adopting a senior and contributing a gift. All gifts will be given at the Senior Breakfast, and your support will help make sure every senior feels celebrated and appreciated. Let’s show up for them in a big way!
