Happy Pride Month, Silver City! 🌈✨

In yoga philosophy, one of our foundational guides is Satya, which means truthfulness. But Satya is about more than just telling the truth—it’s the practice of living authentically, honoring your true essence, and showing up in the world exactly as you are.

To us, Pride is the ultimate celebration of Satya.

Our studio is, and always will be, a safe space (Kula) where you are welcomed, celebrated, and loved for exactly who you are. This month (and every month), we honor the beautiful diversity of our community and celebrate living your truth.

Come as you are. Breathe as you are. Flow as you are. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

🌕 Seasons of Yin | Mondays at 6 PM w/ .starlight.mclovin ✨

Inspired by the rhythms of nature — the changing seasons, moon phases, and the wisdom found in cycles — Seasons of Yin offers a space to slow down, connect with our inner world, and sync up with both nature and community.

Because the truth is… we are not separate from nature. We, too, ebb and flow. We, too, have seasons of blooming, resting, shedding, and becoming.

Through long-held, supported postures, yin gently supports the deeper tissues of the body while inviting the nervous system to soften. Physically, yin can support flexibility, mobility, circulation, and restoration. Mentally and emotionally, it can help reduce stress, quiet mental chatter, and reconnect us both inward and outward.

This practice is not about pushing.
It’s about listening. Softening. Honoring what your body and mind may be asking for.
Remembering that rest is part of growth. 💛

05/26/2026

Happy Tuesday! Now that the grills are cooling down, the Blues Fest stages are packed away, and the long Memorial Day weekend is officially behind us, we’ve been doing a little reflecting.

As we slide back into our regular weekday routines, it’s a beautiful time to look back at the deeper meaning behind the holiday. At its core, Memorial Day is about remembering those who gave everything in service to others. In the yoga tradition, we have a specific word for this profound concept: Seva—the practice of selfless service.

While military service is an undeniable and ultimate expression of seva, selfless service actually wears many different uniforms. It doesn't require a grand stage or a monumental sacrifice to make a difference. You can practice seva every single day, right where you are:

🛒 At the grocery store: Letting someone with just a few items skip ahead of you, or offering a genuine, patient smile to a busy cashier.

💼 At your job: Taking five minutes to help a coworker troubleshoot a problem, or quietly handling a tedious task just to make a teammate's day a little lighter.

🏡 With friends and family: Truly putting down your phone to listen without preparing a response, or showing up with a meal when someone is feeling overwhelmed.

Seva is simply love in action. It’s the intentional choice to shift our focus from "What can I get?" to "How can I help?"

Whether you spent the holiday honoring the fallen, dancing to the blues, or just resting, let's carry that quiet spirit of service into the rest of our week.

Look around today—your next opportunity to practice seva might be closer than you think. 🤍
