My birth chart says I was born to be an Art Therapist…..and although it strongly suggests being my own boss (🌙 in the 10th house) my soul is a here to be healer.
Therefore my soul sometimes drags at the many hats it has to wear to be an entrepreneur. The marketing, accounting, strategizing, networking, administrative, legal, and professional duties.
My preferred task is seating across the couch from one of my clients, hearing their thoughts and feelings, sensing and intuiting, and guiding them along.
Creating, maintaining, and sustaining the space for this requires SO much more. I often have to give myself grace for maybe being slower or not doing as much as I’d like in any of these other areas because I know what my soul craves.
Checking ✅ the brochures I wanted to make off the to do list felt so good. We needed Kelsey & Jill on there!!! But I also had to give myself grace because I watched that task get carried over from week to week to week.
Grace, not judgement or shame. I put my client work FIRST. I am a therapist at heart. Making sure the other therapists at heart have what they need to do their best work. Putting together Kelsey’s office for an inviting space for her clients came before a pretty marketing tool.
Let’s all take a moment to honor the little or big tasks that got ✅ off the to do list. Let’s also allow for grace or non judgement for the items that didn’t get ✅. Take a pause to reflect and redefine what is most important or your soul purpose.
