At Southfield Village, our residents are treated to some truly wild fun each month! 🐾🦜

Thanks to our wonderful partnership with the Potawatomi Zoo, residents enjoy regular animal visits filled with learning, laughter, and plenty of surprises. From tropical birds and large toads to even the occasional skunk, there’s always something fascinating to see and discover!

Our residents love animals, and experiences like these are just one of the many ways we bring joy, education, and connection into everyday life. There’s always something new to learn at Southfield Village! 💚

This spring at Southfield Village, residents and visitors enjoyed something truly special through our partnership with Forever Learning Institute—Chinese Mahjong classes! 🀄💚

These engaging sessions were a wonderful way for everyone to come together, learn something new, and enjoy friendly competition while building connections across our community.

While Mahjong classes are currently on break for the summer, we’re excited to share that it will return in September for the fall session! 🍂

Not too long ago, our Southfield Village Healthcare residents celebrated Nursing Home Week with a beautiful and creative activity—DIY floral bouquets! 🌸💙

Residents had such a wonderful time arranging colorful flowers, creating their own unique bouquets, and sharing beauty and smiles with one another along the way. 💐✨

The activity was not only fun and relaxing, but also a special opportunity for residents to express creativity, enjoy fellowship, and brighten the day with something beautiful.

Moments like these are what make life at Southfield Village so meaningful—celebrating joy, connection, and the simple pleasures that bring people together. It truly was quite the treat! 💚

Spring is in full bloom at Southfield Village! 🌸🌿

Our campus is looking lush, vibrant, and full of color as the warmer weather settles in. After a long winter, we’re soaking up every bit of green and sunshine we can get!

There’s something so refreshing about this time of year, and our residents are loving the beauty that surrounds them each day. ☀️💙

Not too long ago, our Southfield Village Healthcare residents celebrated the arrival of spring with a fun and festive Garden Party! 🌸💙🌿

As the warmer weather started rolling in, residents enjoyed an afternoon full of laughter, creativity, and delicious treats. One of the biggest hits? Chocolate pudding desserts topped with gummy worms made to look like little buckets of dirt and worms—gross… but VERY yummy! 😂🍫🪱

The fun didn’t stop there! Residents also got to wear stylish flower headwear, show off colorful temporary flower tattoos, and snap photos in front of a beautiful garden-themed backdrop. 📸🌼

Days like these are what make our community so special—giving residents and staff something exciting to look forward to, plan together, and enjoy side by side. The smiles, laughter, and joyful memories made the party a blooming success! 💚

🎨 Now through May 29th, our Creativity is Timeless Art Show is proudly on display right here on campus, showcasing the incredible talent of artists throughout our community and surrounding area.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in this wonderful event, as well as to the judges and community members who helped determine this year’s winners. The creativity, passion, and artistic talent on display have been absolutely inspiring! ✨

There are so many gifted artists living in our area, and this exhibit is a beautiful celebration of imagination, expression, and lifelong creativity.
