Sentara Halifax was proud to participate in the 21st Annual Trick-or-Treat Trail in Downtown Halifax! We loved being part of this wonderful community tradition and having the opportunity to connect with local families while spreading a little Halloween cheer!

A special THANK YOU to all the amazing volunteers who helped prepare the hot dogs and to everyone who showed up to serve them and share a warm smile with our community. Your time, teamwork, and willingness to give back helped make this event extra special!

Sentara Health and Aetna collaborate to provide more access to quality healthcare providers across Virginia.

Starting January 1, 2027, Aetna Medicare Advantage and Aetna Better Health of Virginia members will have full access to Sentara providers, hospitals and care locations throughout our health system. Sentara is also in-network for Aetna commercial members.

The expanded partnership supports greater access to coordinated, high-quality care for patients and families across Virginia.
