La Camara hiperbárica es un tratamiento en el que el paciente respira oxígeno al 100% dentro de una cámara presurizada, permitiendo aumentar la cantidad de oxígeno que llega a los tejidos del cuerpo.

We honor the memory of a truly special person, Sofia Sosa, who touched the lives of so many during her time with our organization.
She was compassionate, caring, and always brought light and warmth wherever she went. Her kindness, genuine spirit, and the way she cared for those around her left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of working alongside her.
Her loss is felt deeply within our organization and by all those who had the opportunity to know and work with her. She will be remembered not only for the work she did, but for the beautiful person she was.

First in Miami! ☀️
Dr. Juan Carlos Pereda performed the first percutaneous transmural arterial bypass by a vascular surgeon in Miami — the DETOUR procedure with the TORUS Stent Graft System.
DETOUR treats long, calcified blockages in the thigh artery by routing blood around the diseased segment through the adjacent vein. No incision, no vein harvest, home the same day.
It’s a powerful tool. It isn’t the right tool for every leg — and knowing when to reach for it, versus an open bypass or another endovascular reconstruction, is the part that takes a full vascular training.
Every patient gets evaluated for all of it. Then we pick.
