Many of us think nervous system regulation has to look intentional or structured—meditation, breathing exercises, journaling, or mindfulness practices.
While those tools can be helpful, regulation often happens in quieter ways. It can be found in moments of comfort, connection, movement, beauty, or rest throughout your day.
The goal isn’t to do regulation perfectly. It’s to notice the experiences that help your mind and body feel a little more settled, safe, and present.
