After earning his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, Dr. Andersen completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident and received the “Golden Hands” surgical award🏆 He later completed a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship in Ohio.

Dr. Andersen specializes in advanced care for retinal conditions, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachments.

Meet Spokane Eye Dr. Rory T. Allar 👁️

Dr. Allar joined Spokane Eye Clinic in 2014 and is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma care.

He completed his medical training at Dartmouth, followed by residency at the Casey Eye Institute and a glaucoma fellowship at UC Davis. He treats glaucoma using a range of options, including medications, laser treatments, and traditional surgery, and also performs cataract surgery.

Dr. Allar is passionate about providing compassionate care and has even worked internationally, helping patients in Rwanda, Nicaragua, and China.
