Liver cancer is one of the fastest-rising causes of cancer-related deaths in the United States, making awareness, prevention, and research more important than ever.

Many liver cancer risk factors, including hepatitis B and C infections, excessive alcohol use, and metabolic conditions such as obesity, can be addressed through screening, prevention, and medical care.

🎗️ This month, we honor patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare teams affected by liver cancer.

We are celebrating Spiritual Care Week this week! Cancer affects so much more than a person's physical health. It can bring uncertainty, difficult questions, and challenges that reach far beyond a diagnosis. That's why we are so grateful for our Spiritual Care team and the support they provide to patients, families, and our staff every day.

Through listening, encouragement, and simply being present, our chaplains help people navigate some of life's hardest moments. They meet people where they are, regardless of faith, beliefs, or background, and remind them they don't have to walk through those moments alone. Thank you to our chaplains for the way you care for all of us!
