Locally owned and nationally recognized, Freeman Health System provides exceptional hospital care across Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas through a trusted network of hospitals, clinics, and specialty services. Northwest Health is the largest health system in Northwest Arkansas with four hospitals: Northwest Medical Center – Bentonville, Northwest Medical Center – Springdale, Northwest Medical Center – Willow Creek Women’s Hospital and Siloam Springs Regional Hospital. The system has 487 beds, a combined active medical staff of more than 500 physicians and 2,000 team members working together to provide quality healthcare for the region. The system also includes two, 24/7 standalone emergency departments – Northwest Health Emergency Department Fayetteville and Northwest Health Emergency Department Bentonville.

🏥 Last Wednesday, Freeman Health System - Springdale Medical Center was proud to host the Experience Springdale class with the Springdale Chamber of Commerce for Health & Human Services Day.

Participants heard from Annie Kanitz, Director of Emergency Services and Trauma Program, who shared an overview of trauma care and services; Michael Roper, RN, Market Chief Nursing Officer, who provided a healthcare industry and health system overview; and Kevin Chung, MD, Interventional Cardiologist, who wrapped up the day with an informative discussion on heart health and Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD).

Thank you to our speakers for sharing their expertise, the Springdale Chamber for their partnership, and Morrison for providing lunch for the class. We’re grateful for opportunities like these to connect with and educate future community leaders!

Dolly Days was a hit at the Breast Imaging Center - Willow Creek! 🩷✨

Last Friday, we welcomed patients with a little extra sparkle in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. From our Dolly-inspired wigs and festive photo booth to sweet treats throughout the day, it was a fun way to celebrate and connect with our patients while highlighting an important message: early detection saves lives.

Routine mammograms play a critical role in detecting breast cancer early, when treatment is often most effective.
