💙 Hey, Ozarks businesses! Will you WEAR BLUE with us this November? 💙

November is Children's Grief Awareness Month, and we're inviting local businesses, organizations, and teams to join Lost & Found Grief Center in wearing blue to show grieving children and families that they are not alone.

1 in 10 children in Missouri will experience the death of a parent or sibling by age 18. Together, we can help raise awareness and remind these children that their community cares.

We're grateful to the businesses who are already planning to join us in this effort! And you can, too! 🧡💙

We're thrilled to give a big "THANK YOU!" shout-out to these Horace Mann Elementary students who donated $1001.46 to Lost & Found Grief Center!

The students in Ms. Kelley's 4th-grade class last year (now 5th grade) adopted Lost & Found as part of their philanthropy project. They spent several months selling a wide range of craft items, and last week they presented a check for the final amount raised.

When we talked with these kids, even they were surprised by how much was raised! 😮 They shared that their gift to Lost & Found is one way to help "kids who are feeling sad" following the death of a parent or sibling. 💙🧡

Thank you again, Mann Elementary School and Public Schools, for your generosity, creativity, and thoughtfulness.

One month from today, we're dropping the puck for a great cause!🧡💙🏒

As part of Children's Grief Awareness Month happening in November, we're excited to partner with Missouri State Ice Hockey and Regional Hospice of Springfield MO for Lost & Found Grief Center nights on Nov 13 & 14.

During the hockey games, fans can bid on custom, player-worn jerseys, with auction proceeds benefiting Lost & Found Grief Center and our mission to provide help, hope, and healing to grieving children, teens, and adults in the Ozarks.

A little slower. A little safer. 💙🧡

We recently added speed bumps and additional signs to our parking lot to encourage slower driving and help keep participants, visitors, and staff safe as they come and go.

Caring for our grieving community includes making the path to our doors safer, too.

When families come for an orientation tour at Lost & Found Grief Center, we offer them a custom blanket. We are thankful for the incredible volunteers who create these. Recently, Vicki Plunkett, Denise Swain, and Janey Combs dropped off some new blankets.

This volunteer opportunity came about through the Give 5 program, which introduces retirees to serving opportunities in our community.

Thank you, Vicki, Denise, and Janey, for these beautiful blankets that bring help, hope, and healing to grieving families.

It was a special Sunday today in St. Louis as part of the 2026 Celebrate Life 5K Run/Walk hosted by Mid-America Transplant 💚🧡💙 In addition to cheering on runners and walkers, we invited people to create custom clips to honor their person and continued to remind people that no one should grieve alone. 💚💙

We're still celebrating the wins from GameDay 26! 🎉🙌 And had to share a few more highlights and photos of this great day at BigShots Golf.
