Congratulations to Dr. Kerri Morgan! Earlier this week, Dr. Morgan was announced as the recipient of this year's Washington University in St. Louis Provost Impact Award! Paraquad is grateful to partner with Dr. Morgan at the Stephen A. Orthwein Center on her project, wheelchair user physical activity training intervention to enhance cardiometabolic health (WATCH).

In honor of Women’s History Month, Paraquad is highlighting a woman in the disability rights movement each week whose leadership, advocacy, and vision have helped shape a more accessible and inclusive world.

We’re starting with Judith Heumann — a pioneering disability rights leader often called the “mother of the disability rights movement.” Throughout her life, Judith fought for the fundamental belief that people with disabilities belong in every part of society — in our schools, workplaces, communities, and government.

From leading the historic 504 Sit-in to helping shape the Americans with Disabilities Act, her advocacy opened doors for generations.

At Paraquad, we continue the work she championed: advancing independence, access, and opportunity for people with disabilities.

Welcome to Logan University Health Centers Dr. Prusso!

Logan University Health Centers is proud to introduce Kyle Prusso, DC, CCSP as the new Director of the Health Centers. 👏

Dr. Prusso brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare operations, sports medicine and academic leadership to the clinics. As director, Dr. Prusso will be responsible for overseeing health center operations, as well as working collaboratively with clinical educators and staff members to ensure student-focused clinical training experience, quality patient care, and appropriate business practices, consistent with programmatic and institutional goals.

“I'm really excited to join the team at Logan," Dr. Prusso said. "I'm excited for the direction the school is taking and I'm proud to be a part of it. I look forward to getting to know the clinic team and working with them.”

What will be impacted on Monday, Jan. 26?
