Eric Lawrence Moore

May 25, 1963 - May 10, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished Eric Lawrence Moore, beloved youngest child preceded in death by parents Arthur R. Moore and Rose M. Moore, Brian K. Moore (brother), Sandra “Sandy” Lowenstein (sister). Deeply mourned by Darlene McGraw (fiancé), Eric Thomas “Tommy” Moore (son), brothers Terry L. Moore (Donna) of Springfield, IL, Craig A. Moore of Festus, MO, Trent L. Moore (Micky) of Ft. Lauderdale FL and sister Valerie G. Evans (Jim) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Eric shared many fond childhood memories of family and friends, and truck-driving adventures across America.

Donations to the American Cancer Society, Mercy Hospice South / DeGreeff Hospice House in honor of Eric’s memory are welcome.

Steven R. Helton, 56 of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on May 19 th , 2026, in St. Louis, in his home surrounded with love by his family.

Steve was born on March 8 th , 1970. He was baptized at Twin Rivers Church.

Steve worked as a Warehouse Supervisor starting on Produce Row followed by Beverage Concept, Allen Foods, DPI and his ultimate favorite work and work family at 10 by 3. He was a hardworking and dedicated employee.

Steve LIVED life with his outgoing, fun, loving, strong and loyal personality. He was always willing to jump in to help or lighten any mood with a quick joke. He could talk to anyone about anything. He loved educating himself daily.

Steve loved and supported his family in every measure. The kids always said, He can do ANYTHING with his glasses. His wisdom was beyond his years. He was always there for the kids, listening, teaching, guiding and most of all, playing. He loved fishing, baseball, hockey, racing, boxing, music, concerts, gambling, BBQing, off road mudding and pyro techs. Steve will be greatly missed by all.

Steve leaves behind his wife, Cindy, his two kids, Gabriel and Aleeya, his siblings, Tammy Fox- Davis, Jimmy Huson, David Huson (Amy Huson), his nephews, Anthony Fox, Alex Fox, Bradley Huson, his niece Alyssa Cerrvera. Along with MANY cousins and friends. Steve was proceeded in death by his mother, Sharon Huson and his grand-mother, Adele Egan.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 5 th , 2026, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at: Michel Funeral Home 5930 Southwest Ave. St. Louis, MO. 63139. There will be a short service honoring his life at 6:00 P.M.

Gary Wayne Landon passed away peacefully May 13, 2026. Born December 1, 1958 to the late Gerald Landon and the late Helen (nee Remmert) Landon.

Beloved brother of Dorothy (Rick) Riddle and Etta (Jim) Thompson. Loving uncle of Samuel Landon (Abbie Adams), Katrina Sousa, Erica Green, Jason (Sarah) Derby and Chris (Kacey) Derby.

Gary is preceded in death by his sister Patricia Tullock, brothers Edward Landon, Steven Landon and niece Stacy Bedore.

Gary was a devoted employee of Crown Candy for 23 ½ years.

Evelyn C. Dietzel, at age 101, passed away peacefully at home in the presence of her loving son and her puppies on Friday, April 24, 2026. Evelyn was born on April 30, 1924.

She is survived by her son Larry R. Dietzel, her puppies Maggie and Annie. Nieces Pam Koerber, Marry Evelyn Horn, Colleen Grove, and Rhonda Kimmich.

Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Richard L. Dietzel, sister Ruby McDaniel, brother Ronnie Miller and her parents Melvin and Aileen Miller.

Evelyn lived a full and happy life with many interests and friends. She endlessly gave of herself to help others. But, above all else, she dedicated herself to being the best wife and mother she could be. She was married to Richard L. Dietzel for 63 years and they were never apart for even one day.

Evelyn was a joy to be with. She had a caring heart and loving spirit and always an optimistic outlook, even when she approached her final days. Even as weak as she was, she said I'm ok.

Many of friends who had lost their parents, adopted Evelyn. She made friends wherever she went. So many people gravitated to her outgoing personality.

A graveside service was held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for family and close friends.

John Shields was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Akiko Shields and James Shields.

He is survived by his sister; his children, Timothy Politte, Amber Streitz, and Nicole Shields; and his cherished grandchildren, Adam, Alivia, Kaiden, Henry, and Thomas, who brought great joy to his life.

John will be remembered for the love he shared with his family, the memories he created, and the lasting impact he made on those around him. His presence, guidance, and words of wisdom(the John-version) will remain in the hearts and memories of his loved ones forever.

Cathy is preceded in death by her siblings Mike and Nita.

Devoted father of Chance, Shyanne, Alex, Roger, and Hunter. Dear uncle of Siarra Moultrie and Justin Moultrie.

Roger is preceded in death by his brother David Moultrie.

Sharon Ann Brown passed away surrounded by loved ones on April 27th, 2026. Born June 14th, 1960 to Alan and Alice (Bentley) Dunbar. Sharon was united in marriage to Fred Brown Jr on August 2nd, 1980 in High Ridge, Mo.

Sharon’s grandkids were her whole world. She loved to see what new artwork they would make. Sharon filled her yard with beautiful flowers and loved birds, having several as pets over the years. She loved to thrift shop or just shop in general. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she took much joy in decorating her home from top to bottom. In her mind you could never have too many Christmas decorations. She loved to have family celebrations, especially having all her kids and grandkids over to BBQ.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Fred Brown Jr, Union; seven children: Fred Brown III, Greg Brown, Nichole (Geary) Vaughn, all from Union; Felicia (Ryan) McGuirk of Blackwell; Todd Brown and significant other, Casey Hamilton of Sullivan; Eric Brown and significant other, Angela Crawford; Cheyenne (Jacqueline) Pippin, all of Washington, Mo. Nine grandchildren: Layla, Annabell, & Madelyn Vaughn, Abel McGuirk, Gunner and Maggie Brown, Izzy Hamilton, Colton and Sophie Crawford; four siblings: Kellie (David) Schaefer, Princeville IL, Michael Dunbar, Wellsville; Gary (Brandy) Tratchel, O’Fallon; Karen Tratchel, Montgomery City; lots of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by: Alan Dunbar and Alice Tratchel (parents); Fred and Dorothy Brown (Parent-in-laws); Patty Smith (Sister-in-law).

A celebration of life will take place on May 16th, from noon until 3:00 PM at Robertsville State Park.
