Peter Hughes, 89, of Stanford passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Stanford Crossing. Peter was born in Norwood, Ohio on February 9, 1937 to the late Neil and Mary Alice Reed. He is survived by his loving wife Rosemary Hughes.

Peter’s wishes for cremation will be honored. No public services are planned at this time.

Robert Guy Lane, 51, of Brodhead passed away at UK Medical Center in Lexington on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.

Public Visitation will be 5 to 8PM on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home. A second Public Visitation will be 11AM to 1PM on Tuesday June 9, 2026.

A Public Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the funeral home with Bro. James Harris and Bro. Travis Carpenter officiating.

Burial will follow at Junction City Cemetery.

We wanted to clarify our previous post concerning the passing of Mayor Dalton Miller. Spurlin Funeral Home of Stanford is handling the funeral arrangements of the Mayor. We just wanted the family and friends of Dalton to know that we are praying for them at this time. Sorry for any confusion this has caused.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT-PLEASE SHARE

Beginning tomorrow, our parking lot and the Stanford Methodist Church parking lot will be resealed. Until Saturday afternoon, there will be very limited access to our parking lot. If you need to come to the funeral home, you will need to park on Main Street. If you cannot make it up the hill to the office area, we will accommodate you however we can. On Monday, May 25, 2026, John M. Conatser, Sr, age 80, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, completed his circle of life here on Earth and entered his heavenly home surrounded by the love of his family, reunited with those who had gone before him.

A Public Visitation will be held 10:30AM-12:30PM Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home. A Public Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12:30PM Thursday, at the funeral home.

Private burial, with Full Military Honors, will take place in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

A Public Visitation will be held 5-8PM Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 11AM Monday, June 1, 2026, at the funeral home. Bro. Kevin Jones will officiate the service. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on David’s memorial page of the funeral home’s website.

Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
