Our Lunch Bunch enjoyed a wonderful outing yesterday to El Sombrero! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and everyone had a wonderful time visiting and sharing a meal together.

One of our residents was especially excited when she discovered they had a non-alcoholic beer available. You’ll spot her proudly enjoying it in one of the photos! Sometimes it’s the little things that can make a day extra special.

Thank you to the staff at El Sombrero for helping make our outing such an enjoyable one. We always look forward to our Lunch Bunch adventures!

Thank you Madison Gaston from Georgia Hospice Care for coming yesterday afternoon and hosting another fun-filled Butterbean Auction for our residents! There were so many great prizes up for grabs, and the bidding got pretty competitive at times!

One of our ladies even came prepared with her own bag because she knows Madison always brings such wonderful items and she’ll need something to carry all her treasures back to her room. 😊

There was plenty of laughter, excitement, and friendly competition throughout the afternoon. It’s always a great time when Madison comes to visit, and our residents look forward to every Butterbean Auction. Thank you, Madison, for making the day so special!

A big thank you to Statesboro Therapy Dogs for visiting us this morning! Our residents always look forward to these special visits, and today was no exception.

Oliver, Red, and SadieMae brought plenty of smiles, tail wags, and happiness to everyone they met. Of course, we can’t forget their wonderful humans who bring them and share their time with us!

There were smiles all around as residents enjoyed petting, visiting, and making new memories with these sweet furry friends. Thank you for brightening our day—we can’t wait to see you again! 🐾❤️

A special thank you to Reid for spending part of his afternoon with us and sharing his musical talents on the piano. Reid has been coming to play for our residents for several years now, and it is always such a joy to have him here.

His beautiful music fills the room with warmth and brings back so many wonderful memories. Beyond his talent, Reid is always kind, thoughtful, and a delight to be around.

Reid recently graduated from high school and will soon be heading off to attend Mercer University. While we’re excited for this next chapter in his life, we’re also grateful for every opportunity we still have to enjoy his music before he leaves.

Thank you, Reid, for the joy you bring to Southern Manor.🎶🎹

Our residents enjoyed a delightful trip down memory lane as we sang along to beloved hymns, favorite songs from musicals, and many other timeless tunes. Music has a special way of bringing back cherished memories, and today was filled with smiles, singing, and sweet moments together.

Thank you all for making our morning so special. We truly appreciate your time, talent, and the joy you brought to Southern Manor!

We've been so busy having fun this week that we haven't had a chance to post pictures along the way! So today we're sharing them all at once.

Our residents enjoyed several wonderful outings, including shopping, pedicures, a trip to the farmers market, treasure hunting at the thrift store, and dining out. The farmers market, thrift store, and lunch outing were all part of today's beautiful adventure!

Back at Southern Manor, the fun continued with bocce ball, balloon ball, communion, music, crafts, and of course, bingo.

Some weeks are so full of activity, laughter, and special moments that we simply don't have time to post every picture right away. Just know that our residents have been staying active, making memories, and enjoying every minute. ❤️

Life at Southern Manor is never boring, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! 😊
