Your body isn’t a machine that’s meant to run at 100% all day. 🔋

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is… stop.

Sit down.
Breathe.
Let the heat do what heat does.

Research on sauna bathing suggests that controlled heat exposure can influence cardiovascular function, circulation, and other physiological stress-response pathways. Infrared sauna research specifically has shown promising effects, although researchers emphasize that more high-quality studies are still needed. (PubMed Central (PMC))

And then there’s the part we don’t need a clinical trial to understand:

There’s a lot of “sauna detox” information floating around the internet, some of it gets a little… creative.

So let’s separate the fascinating science from the wellness hype.

Research has found that sweat CAN contain certain environmental compounds, including BPA and several heavy metals.

BUT: sweating isn’t your body’s primary detox pathway.

Your liver, kidneys, and GI system are doing the majority of that work around the clock. Sweat is a much smaller piece of the puzzle.

And that’s actually what we love about Infared sauna at Soul Soak.

You don’t have to believe your sweat is magically “pulling toxins out of your body.”

You can simply appreciate what happens when you give your body heat, stillness, circulation, sweat, and 30 minutes where nobody needs anything from you. 🫠
