Weight loss is not always about eating less. Sometimes, it is about helping your body handle food better.
One simple strategy I often discuss for weight management, insulin resistance, blood sugar balance, and metabolic health is food sequencing.
Try this order at meals:
Vegetables first.
Protein second.
Carbs last.
This does not mean cutting out rice, bread, pasta, or potatoes. It simply means changing the order you eat them in.
That small shift can help slow digestion, support fullness, reduce blood sugar spikes, and improve how your body responds after meals.
Simple does not mean ineffective. Sometimes the habits that actually stick are the ones that are easiest to repeat.
At InTouch Primary Care, we help patients look at the full picture — weight, hormones, insulin resistance, sleep, labs, body composition, and long-term health.
