Last night, Sweetwater Hospital Association celebrated our employees, volunteers, medical staff, and board members at our annual Employee Recognition Dinner held at Mashburn Farms. This year's Luau-themed event honored years of dedicated service and recognized several outstanding individuals for their commitment to excellence.

Congratulations to our award recipients:

SHA is proud to announce that the SHA Wound Care Center was awarded the prestigious 2025 Center of Distinction award by Healogics. The Center achieved outstanding clinical outcomes for twelve consecutive months, including a patient satisfaction rate higher than 92 percent. This recognition is a testament to the exceptional care and dedication demonstrated by the Centerโ€™s physicians, leaders, and clinicians.

The center was also awarded the 2025 Robert A. Warriner III, M.D. Clinical Excellence Award. The Center scored in the top 10 percent of eligible Healogics Wound Care Centers on the Clinical Excellence measure. This award is named for Dr. Robert A. Warriner III, a pioneer in wound care and the former Chief Medical Officer for Healogics.

This is the 1st year they were eligible, and they did incredible!!!

Important Notice: Temporary Changes to Emergency Department Access

Beginning Wednesday, 6/3/26, construction and facility improvements will require temporary changes to parking and access at Sweetwater Hospital Association.

Please be aware of the following changes:

๐Ÿ”น The Emergency Department parking lot will be closed
๐Ÿ”น Parking Lot B will be closed
๐Ÿ”น Some parking spaces in Parking Lot A will be unavailable
๐Ÿ”น The Emergency Department entrance will be temporarily closed

Patients and visitors needing Emergency Department services should enter through the hospital's Main Entrance, where staff will assist with directions and access to the ED.

To help minimize inconvenience, the SHA Shuttle will be available throughout the day, continuously circulating through designated parking areas and providing free transportation to and from the Main Entrance.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our facilities. These temporary changes are necessary to enhance the patient and visitor experience.

Dr. Wendy is in the office Monday 8:00 - 2:00 and Wednesday and Friday 8:00-11:00 for well exams and med refills.
