National Provider Alliance The National Provider Alliance, Inc. helps to create networks of surgical assistants with the intention of negotiating with plans for reimbursement.

The National Provider Alliance is currently working in collaboration with the Association of Surgical Assistants with the purpose of finding a way for the CSFA, CSA and SA-C to be reimbursed for their services. To date, we have a network in Florida and as of November 1, 2013 have entered into a contract with Cigna (in Florida). We are currently in the beginning phas of setting up a network in Texa

s with hopes of being able to contract with plans in that state as well. We are always working on negotiating more contracts with other plans.
