A huge ‘thank you’ to Parris with New Century Hospice for spending an afternoon painting with our residents! What a wonderful time filled with creativity, laughter & plenty of colorful masterpieces 💖Activities like these do so much more than create beautiful artwork, they encourage self-expression, stimulate the mind & bring a wonderful sense of accomplishment & joy. Thank you again, Parris & New Century Hospice, for helping us create such FUN MOMENTS🖌️🌷🎨

❤️A big ‘thank you’ to our friend, Julia Robledo with Aspen Hospice for spending time with our residents & helping us plant flower seeds!🌸🌱 There’s something so special about getting our hands a little dirty, sharing smiles &🌺watching something beautiful begin to🌻grow. Activities like these bring JOY, purpose & relaxation to our residents, while giving everyone something exciting to look forward to as the flowers bloom. 💛Thank you, Julia, for your kindness, patience &for making this so much fun! 💙🇺🇸This week is bittersweet for all of us at Mercy House as we say ‘see ya later’ to Brianne (& Chris) Welch before their family’s move to Germany for Chris’s next duty station with the United States Army.
For so long, Brianne has faithfully come every single week to lead Bible Study with the ladies of Mercy House, sharing God’s Word, encouragement, kindness, laughter &so much love with our sweet ladies. Her caring heart & gentle spirit have truly been such a blessing to all of us. 💐
For her final visit, her hubby,Chris, joined us & blessed everyone by playing the piano while we sang together…what beautiful & special moments we will treasure. 🎹🎶
Brianne, ‘thank you’ for the love, compassion & time you have poured into Mercy House. The impact you’ve made on our ladies will not be forgotten. AND to the Welch family, thank you for your continued service &sacrifice for our country.🇺🇸 We love you, we will miss you dearly, & we are praying for safe travels & MANY BLESSINGS on your next chapter in Germany❤️

🇺🇸Today, we pause to remember &honor the brave men & women who gave their lives for our FREEDOM. Their sacrifice is the reason we are able to enjoy the blessings of this beautiful country each day. This Memorial Day, especially,we are thankful, proud, &forever grateful to ALL who have served & sacrificed for America.
❤️🤍💙May we never forget the heroes who made our FREEDOM possible. Wishing everyone a safe & meaningful Memorial Day as we honor those who gave all.🇺🇸

✨EVERY, SINGLE, DAY is filled with moments of joy, love, connection& purpose. Our residents are not just cared for,they are cherished LIKE FAMILY. From crafts & games to music, devotionals, celebrations, & quiet conversations, these everyday moments are what make Mercy House such a special place to call home.
The smiles we see, the friendships we witness& the moments we make together remind us that JOY truly lives in the simple things.✨
