Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten. Because of them, we are given the gift of freedom—something we hold close not only today, but every day.

As we gather with loved ones this Memorial Day, may we take a moment to reflect, to remember the lives lost, and to express our deepest gratitude to those who gave everything.

We remember. We honor. We are forever grateful.

We are honored to welcome Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Thomas (Tom) M. Warth as our Guest Speaker for our Memorial Day Service on Monday, May 25th at 11:00 AM.

LTC Warth currently serves as the Commander of the 1st Battalion, 635 Armor Regiment in the Kansas Army National Guard, where he leads a tank battalion with dedication and distinction. Throughout his military career, he has held numerous leadership roles, including assignments with the National Guard Bureau at the Pentagon, Executive Officer positions, Inspector General for the 35th Infantry Division during a Middle East deployment, and multiple leadership roles supporting operations both stateside and overseas.

A decorated veteran, LTC Warth was awarded the Bronze Star for his service during a 15-month deployment to Southeastern Baghdad in support of “The Surge.” His commitment to service is matched by his academic achievements, holding a Master’s degree in International Relations from Webster University and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Loyola University, where he earned his commission through ROTC.

Beyond his service, Tom is a devoted husband to his wife, Winter, and a proud father to their three children: Jack, Summer, and May.

Please join us as we welcome LTC Warth and come together to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Our team visited Wilbert Vault in Kansas City for hands-on training focused on cemetery vaults and their manufacturing process.
We are sometimes asked why a burial vault is needed and what purpose it serves. A casket is designed to enclose the body, while the outer burial container, commonly known as a vault, encloses the casket. The vault helps sustain the weight of the earth above and protects the casket from the elements. For families who choose cremation with urn burial, an urn vault serves the same purpose by protecting the urn. Most cemeteries require an outer burial container to help preserve the integrity of the grave space and prevent settling caused by earth and heavy machinery.

Merry Christmas to all of the families we have been honored to serve. 🎄❤️

Today can bring a mix of emotions, especially for those who are navigating the holidays after the loss of a loved one. Traditions may feel different, and moments of joy and sadness can exist side by side and that’s okay.

If it brings you comfort, we encourage you to share memories, tell stories, and speak the name of those you hold close in your heart. Remembering them is a meaningful way to keep their love present today.

From our family to yours, we are wishing you peace and comfort this Christmas.

Friendly Reminder!

Our Annual Fall Clean-Up is happening this Saturday, November 15th!

Please take a moment to remove any decorations before that date so they don’t get discarded. We also recommend waiting a day after clean-up to place new decorations, just to make sure nothing gets caught in the mix.

Thank you so much for your understanding and help in keeping our grounds looking beautiful! 🍂
