Just about to make a sandwich and had to take a beat.

Gerry makes beautiful bread.

Could not have ever imagined us having this bakery when we met over 13 years ago. And yet, looking at this literal labor of love and knowledge, I can’t imagine us NOT doing it now.

This bread represents his years of hard work, endless curiosity and unwavering passion for making good bread for us.

I am lucky as hell to eat it.

Back to the sandwich…

Hey all! We participate in this event and want to share it here. It’s a cool thing to be a part of and open to however you participate.

We ❤️Maine Grain Alliance!

Worldwide Community Bake Day is October 16 — and there are plenty of ways to take part. Bakery owners can host an event or create a special menu item to spotlight their local grain economy. Home bakers can bake a loaf to share with family or neighbors. Big or small, every event helps build connection around food and local grain traditions.

Join us on October 16! Learn more at the link in our bio.
