Protect. Persist. Prosper. πŸ’™

Last week, The IMAGE Center proudly attended the 2026 National Council on Independent Living (NCIL) Conference in Washington, D.C. Alongside Centers for Independent Living (CILs) and Statewide Independent Living Councils (SILCs) from across the country, we came together to advocate for disability rights, strengthen partnerships, share innovative ideas, and advance the Independent Living Movement.

From educational workshops and networking opportunities to legislative advocacy and celebrating our shared mission, the conference reinforced the importance of empowering people with disabilities to live independently and fully participate in their communities.

Check out some of our favorite moments from an inspiring week of learning, collaboration, and advocacy!
