We are excited to announce HCA Florida Healthcare plans to build HCA Florida Cape Coral Hospital, a new full-service hospital designed to expand access to high-quality care for the Cape Coral community.

The approximately $300 million project is planned for 322 SW Pine Island Road, where HCA Florida Cape Coral Emergency currently operates. Construction is expected to begin in 2027, with the hospital anticipated to open in 2029.

Once complete, HCA Florida Cape Coral Hospital will feature up to 100 acute care beds, private patient rooms, modern care spaces and a range of inpatient and outpatient services, including emergency care, surgery, cardiovascular services, imaging, endoscopy, catheterization lab services and women’s services.

This hospital will join HCA Florida Healthcare’s statewide network of 50 hospitals and more than 670 sites of care, helping bring connected, high-quality care closer to home for patients and families across Southwest Florida.
