Clinical Trial Myth #13:
“I’m too old to participate in a clinical trial.”

Many people assume age automatically disqualifies them from participating in clinical research.

In reality, many studies are specifically designed for older adults. Researchers often need participants from a wide range of age groups to better understand how treatments may work for different populations.

Every study has its own eligibility criteria, but age alone does not necessarily prevent someone from participating.

Clinical research helps improve healthcare for people of all ages, and many older adults play an important role in advancing medical knowledge.

If you have ever wondered whether you might qualify for a study, we are always happy to answer your questions.

Clinical Trial Myth #12:
“You need a doctor’s referral to join a clinical trial.”

Many people assume they can only participate in clinical research if their doctor refers them.

In reality, many studies allow people to contact research sites directly to learn more about participation and eligibility.

Every study has its own requirements, but asking questions and exploring available studies is often much easier than people expect.

Clinical research is designed to help connect qualified participants with opportunities to contribute to medical progress.

If you have ever wondered whether you might qualify for a study, we are always happy to answer your questions.
