Holcare CFT Hi, my name is Devon Keefe. I am a Craniosacral Fascial Therapist & LMT. This therapy is wonderful for the whole family!

I believe that fascia is overlooked by conventional medicine & is often the missing piece to help return to a better quality of life.

If you’re new here, hi, I’m Devon 👋🏼 Mom of 3, and the CFT provider behind Devon Keefe | Craniosacral Fascial Therapy | Venice, FL. I see babies from newborns to toddlers, and I’ll be honest: this work found me in the hardest season of my life.⁣
⁣
When my second son was born, he wasn’t feeding well. He wasn’t sleeping. Neither was I. We tried OT, chiro, PT, and diet changes. I was exhausted and desperate for something to finally help.⁣
⁣
𝗦𝗼 𝗜 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗺𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.⁣
⁣
When I walked into my CFT training, I sat next to chiropractors, PTs, osteopaths, nurses, and IBCLCs. And there I was, just a mom. I almost talked myself out of belonging in that room.⁣
⁣
What I didn’t know then is that you don’t have to be a practitioner to take this training. You can take it just for your own babies.⁣
⁣
And as a mom, you might have an advantage. I came in with years of personal training, yoga, Pilates, and fascial stretch therapy, and honestly, that made it harder at first. I had to unlearn the habit of doing to the body and learn to listen with my hands instead.⁣
⁣
You also have something no provider can bring into the room: you are the person your baby feels safest with. Babies borrow our nervous systems, and yours is the one they trust most.⁣
⁣
More babies need this work than my two hands can reach. That’s why I’m sharing this, not because I’m afraid of losing a job. I truly believe that more hands reaching babies early, in those first weeks of life, is how we start healing things for the next generation.⁣
⁣
So if you’re reading this thinking “I’m just a mom,” I see you. I thought that too. I know you can do this, because I did it as just a mom.⁣
⁣
🤍 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 and I’ll send you the 2027 dates.

It’s 3am. ⁣
⁣
The house is silent except for your baby’s cries, and you’re bouncing, shushing, swaying, doing everything “right”... and wondering why nothing is working. Wondering if it’s you.⁣
⁣
I’ve been that mama. With my second, I tried everything and still felt like I was failing him.⁣
⁣
Here’s what I wish someone had whispered to me then: you don’t need another gadget or a 12-step plan. ⁣
⁣
Your body is the tool. ⁣
⁣
Your heartbeat, your smell, your warmth, your breath. Your baby’s nervous system is looking to yours to learn that the world is safe.⁣
⁣
So this is your permission slip to…⁣
⁣
✨ Stare at their squishy face instead of your phone.⁣
⁣
✨ Breathe your baby in when things get tough.⁣
⁣
✨Lean into your support system so you can get rest. ⁣
⁣
✨ Nourish your body well, you can’t make something out of nothing. ⁣
⁣
And if you’re doing all of it and it still feels really hard? That’s not you failing. ⁣
⁣
Sometimes a tough birth or a rough start makes it harder for both of your bodies to settle. That’s where gentle bodywork like Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) can help. It’s exactly why I do what I do. ⁣
⁣
Send it to the mama who’s in the thick of it right now⁣

When feedings get hard, sleep isn’t happening, or your body is still recovering from a birth… sometimes you need more than a tip or even another bodywork move to try at home.

You need someone in your corner. Someone who can help your body feel safe again.

I think of every new baby as a rebirth for mom, too. Overnight, everything changes. So much joy and so much change at the same time. That’s a lot for one nervous system to hold, and sometimes it needs support to settle so your body can finally let go.

That’s why we see mom AND baby in the office. You’re a team, and you both deserve care. 🤍

Moms usually come in asking…

✨ What am I seeing?
✨ What actually matters?
✨ What can I try?
✨ What questions should I be asking?
✨ What support would actually help?

You don’t have to figure this out alone. DM me or tap the link in bio to book a mom + baby session.

⁣
With my first, breastfeeding just... worked. My birth team and my doula were all the support I needed. I didn’t even have a lactation consultant come to the house. So I walked into round two thinking, “I’ve done this before. I know what I’m doing.”⁣
⁣
Then my second son arrived. He had an aversion at the breast. Reflux. Colic. He never slept more than 30 minutes at a time.⁣
⁣
𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗹𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹. ⁣
⁣
My brain couldn’t make sense of it. How could I breastfeed one baby with barely a hiccup and then struggle this much with the next? How could things shift so fast? Why did I suddenly need OT, chiro, PT, diet changes, and still feel like I was failing?⁣
⁣
𝗡𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗯𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗺, 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁.⁣
⁣
That season is the reason why I became a Craniosacral Fascial Therapist (CFT) provider. ⁣
⁣
With my third, I prepared differently. I stopped preparing the nursery and started preparing me. Meals in the freezer. Help I actually said yes to. Days kept small on purpose. And CFT bodywork for my baby in her first few days of life.⁣
⁣
It wasn’t perfect. But it was peaceful, and I didn’t know postpartum could feel like that.⁣
⁣
If you’re in the hard part right now: you’re not failing, and you’re not behind. Sometimes it’s not about doing more. It’s about getting the right support sooner.⁣
⁣

Everyone kept telling me he was “just a fussy baby.” Something in me knew better.

With my second son, I spent most nights scrolling Google with one thumb while he fought being laid down. He’d arch his back and clench his fists, and his head always turned the same way. He would only sleep on me.

I tried everything: OT, chiro, PT, cutting foods from my own diet. My anxiety was through the roof. And the part that still stings is that my toddler got a version of me who was always searching for answers and never really present.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me back then 👇

After birth, your brain actually rewires itself to read your baby. You become a pattern-spotter. That’s why you catch the tiny things no one else does.

But when no one gives a name to what you’re seeing, your brain doesn’t just let it go. It turns the worry inward: “Is it me? Am I doing something wrong? Am I overreacting?”

When a worry has no name, it turns into self-blame. Once it has a name, it’s just information.

So the arching, the fists that won’t relax and the head stuck to one side don’t automatically mean something is wrong. Your baby’s body is talking, and you were the first one listening.

That season with my son is the reason I became a Craniosacral Fascial Therapy provider. I never want another mama to spend months wondering if she’s crazy for noticing.

💛 Comment BODY and I’ll send you my free Baby Body Clues guide. It covers the early signs of tension to watch for, plus 3 gentle moves you can do at home.

You noticed first. Trust that.

Hi! My name is Devon.

I am so glad you are here!

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist who specializes in Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT). The work I do is based off of the teachings of Dr. Barry Gillespie, a periodontist who developed the Gillespie Approach. This approach allows for deep healing by addressing the root cause that lies in the fascia of the craniosacral system.

I fell in love with this therapy for our own family due to its gentle, non-invasive, and effective nature. I have a deep reverence for the body now having over 10 years of experience working with the body in different capacities including personal training, fascial stretch therapy (FST), 500 RYT yoga, Stott pilates certified instructor, and more.

I believe that fascia is overlooked by conventional medicine and is often the missing piece to address you and your family’s health and wellness issues. I am committed to sharing my practice and knowledge of fascia work in the Venice and Sarasota area.

I hope to meet you and your family soon!
