✨STAFF SPOTLIGHT✨

Kendra was born and raised in Morris, Minnesota. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2016, and later completed her Associate’s degree in Mortuary Science through Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado.

She began her career in funeral service in Detroit Lakes in 2019, where she completed her internship and licensure. In September 2021, Kendra joined the Karvonen staff.

Kendra is dedicated to supporting families with compassion, respect, and attention to detail during some of life’s most difficult moments. She strives to create a comfortable and supportive environment for those she serves and values the trust families place in her.

As a member of the Wadena community, Kendra takes pride in building meaningful connections with the people she serves. She lives locally with her three cats and a dog who often accompanies her to work.

In her free time, she enjoys quiet, creative hobbies like knitting and crafting, as well as reading and spending time at the lake.
