Dear Patients and Community Members,
We are writing to share that Dr. Picken has chosen to pursue a new career path and will conclude his time at Prairie Vision Center’s Wahpeton location on Friday, September 25.
Dr. Picken and his family have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Wahpeton community. Throughout his time with Prairie Vision Center, he has considered it a true privilege and blessing to care for his patients—from routine eye examinations to urgent medical needs. He is deeply grateful for the trust his patients have placed in him and will cherish the many relationships he has formed over the years.
As we make this transition, current and new patients may continue their care with Dr. Welder. Patients can feel confident knowing they will be in highly capable and compassionate hands. Our entire team remains committed to providing excellent care and making this transition as smooth as possible.
Please join us in thanking Dr. Picken for his years of service and in wishing him and his family all the best as they begin this next chapter.
