🐾❤️ Two Years in the Making! Meet Karen and Ollie!

After more than two years of dedication, patience, and hard work, Karen and Ollie are beginning an incredible new chapter together as a certified service dog team! 🎉🐕

Karen has been a familiar face at our weekly training sessions and has generously volunteered her time supporting our educational programs. Her commitment to this journey has been nothing short of inspiring.

Together, Karen and Ollie are a wonderful example of the skill, trust, and partnership that make a successful service dog team.

We couldn’t be more excited for these two as they embark on their next adventure together! Please join us in congratulating Karen and Ollie! 💙🐾

🏈🐾 Hudson is cheering on the Rainbow Warriors! 🌈💚

Our future service dog Hudson enjoyed a night of football at a University of Hawaiʻi Rainbow Warriors game! 🏟️

From cheering fans and loud noises to crowds and exciting distractions, experiences like these are an important part of preparing our dogs for their future roles as service dogs.

Every new environment helps build the confidence, focus, and adaptability they need to support their future partners. 💙🐕

Go Bows! 🌈🤙

Come to our Howl-o-ween Meet & Greet! Dress up (or don’t), meet our adorable pups in training, and find out what it really takes to raise a future service dog. We’ll have treats for people and pups, a costume parade, photo ops, and real talk from current puppy raisers. No experience needed, no commitment required. Just come say hi.

Please leave your personal dogs at home. To keep things calm and safe for our service dogs in training, only Hawaiʻi Fi-Do service dogs and puppies-in-training will be at this event.

RSVP so we know how many treats to stock! link to RSVP: https://www.volunteerally.org/volunteer-opportunities/events/rmtzxs79kctho6ti1i1jr3lb

💕🐾 Paws for a cause! 🎀

Our Hawaiʻi Fi-Do volunteers and service dogs were pretty in pink for the Susan G. Komen Walk here in Hawaiʻi! 💗

We loved coming together with our community to support breast cancer awareness, honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and stand alongside everyone affected by breast cancer.

Our pups may have stolen a few hearts in their pink outfits, but the real stars were the incredible people walking for hope, strength, and a future without breast cancer. 🐕💕

Mahalo to our amazing volunteers for representing Hawaiʻi Fi-Do and supporting such an important cause! 🌺

Heroes on both ends of the leash 🐾

Now through October 31, The Kirsch Ohana Charitable Fund will match your donation dollar for dollar, up to $1,000.

Your $50 becomes $100. Your $250 becomes $500. Every dollar, matched or not, moves us toward our $100,000 goal to train more service dogs, support handlers long-term, and bring our programs into more DOE schools and healthcare facilities across Hawaiʻi.

These dogs change lives for veterans, first responders, keiki, and patients, and every team we place is at no cost to them.

The match fills fast, so give early. Link in bio. 🌺

Some things never change! ❤️

Taking a trip down memory lane to revisit some of our training sessions from 2020. Different dogs, familiar faces, and the same mission: preparing exceptional service dogs to change lives.

Every training session, every new skill, and every dedicated volunteer plays a part in helping our dogs become confident, capable companions for people with disabilities.

We’re grateful for everyone who has been part of the Hawaiʻi Fi-Do journey over the years. Mahalo for helping us make a difference, one paw at a time! 🐕‍🦺🌺
