Thereâs a difference between the guilt that tells you something useful (you snapped at someone, you dropped the ball) and the guilt that shows up for no reason at all, just a low hum in the background of everything you do.
If your nervous system learned early on that taking the blame first was the safest move, that guilt can stick around long after itâs useful. Itâs not a character flaw. Itâs a pattern, and patterns can shift.
