Today, we’re shining the spotlight on our wonderful Pat! 💕 Pat has been a part of our Assisted Living community for 2½ years and has truly made Oak Ridge feel like home.

Pat enjoys all of our activities, but her favorites are playing cards and going on outings with her Assisted Living neighbors. 🃏🚌❤️

When asked what she would tell someone considering making The Villages at Oak Ridge their home, Pat said:

“It’s like a big family, this is my home. If I can be happy here, everyone can.” 🥰

Mary came to us nearly three months ago at the beginning of summer after suffering bilateral sacral fractures and experiencing severe debilitation. Through hard work, determination, and a whole lot of perseverance, she made a steady comeback—and now she’s going home! ❤️

She is so excited to return home and told us she “can’t wait to bake an apple pie again.” 🍎🥧

Therapy helped her regain the strength, confidence, and independence she needed to safely return home and get back to doing the things she loves. We are so proud of everything she has accomplished and couldn’t be happier to see her go home! 🏡❤️

✨ Assisted Living Spotlight: Maggie! ✨

We’re so happy to shine the spotlight on Maggie! 💕 Maggie first joined us in Independent Living in 2024 and made the move to Assisted Living at the beginning of 2026. She has loved being part of our community and making memories with our residents and staff!

Some of Maggie’s favorite activities are our theme dinners and family nights, especially getting to see everyone come together, dress up, enjoy a delicious meal, and make memories. 🥰🎉

When asked what she would tell someone considering making The Villages at Oak Ridge their home, Maggie said:

“This is a great place to be and I have enjoyed the company of the staff and my neighbors here. I enjoy not being alone and being able to do things I want to do.”❤️
