Green!!! We’re so excited the green is coming back. We spent some time picking a few of the fresh shoots, making tiny arrangements, tying them with grass. So many skills.

We’re excited to announce the launch of Priority Access Mondays at Palmer Family Park beginning Monday, June 1st!

Each Monday, Palmer Family Park will provide a dedicated all-day environment intentionally designed to create a safer, more supportive, and welcoming experience for families and individuals with disabilities. Priority Access Mondays are focused on reducing unpredictability, encouraging connection, and helping every guest feel comfortable, included, and able to fully enjoy the park experience.

While Palmer Family Park is always open to everyone and committed to inclusion, Mondays will be specially reserved for families and individuals with disabilities so we can give intentional attention to accessibility, safety, sensory considerations, and community support.

To help prepare for an incredible summer season, the park will be closed for a few days prior for maintenance, cleaning, and improvements. We’ll reopen Monday, June 1st as we officially launch our very first Priority Access Monday!

At Palmer Family Park, we believe every child deserves a place to play, belong, and be celebrated. Thank you for helping us continue building a community where everyone belongs.

WildFree Wednesday!
Such a mix of indoor and outdoor amazingness and we couldn’t be happier about it!
What may look like play are multiple opportunities for growth in fine motor skills, executive functioning, visual skills, regulation and interoceptive awareness.
The trees are starting to leaf out, the greenness is coming!!!

Curiosity always wins!!!
When trying this activity in prone for improved shoulder stability, kiddo stopped after a few moments and sat back up. Instead of saying something like “hey keep going” or “get on your belly!” Jillian asked “hey that was quick. What’s up?” And kiddo had a chance to listen to their body, identify the discomfort, and problem solve WITH the adult to continue something that’s already difficult. No compliance. No rewards or bribes or “if you don’t x then y” nonsense. Just curiosity and problem solving. That’s the WildFree Kids way. And we 💜 it because we see the value every single day!!!
