The back-to-school excitement has worn off and that’s often when the real signs start to show. A few things worth paying attention to:
👉🏻 A mood or behavior shift. New irritability, withdrawal, anxiety, or trouble sleeping for more than a couple weeks.
🥗 Changes in appetite, weight, or energy, especially if it’s a noticeable shift from their normal.
🤕 Recurring headaches or stomachaches, especially on school mornings.
📝 Dreading school, going quiet about their day, or pulling back from friends.
⛹️‍♀️ Losing a skill they already had, or stepping back from things they used to enjoy.
🌡️ Getting sick more often, or staying sick longer than usual
