You’ll receive preparation instructions before your visit. After the imaging, a medical doctor interprets the images, and we’ll meet to review your report and discuss your questions.
The imaging is contact-free and does not use radiation. Thermography does not diagnose disease or replace recommended medical screenings.

You may have heard the word thermography and wondered what it means. Perhaps a friend mentioned her appointment, or you’ve come across information online and want a clearer explanation.

Thermography is a type of imaging that uses an infrared camera to record temperature patterns on the skin's surface. The camera captures images showing areas of different temperatures.

At Corrective Balance, thermography is a contact-free experience. The camera does not touch your body, and the imaging does not use radiation.

Over 20,000 cases of breast cancer have been reported annually in women under the age of 40. This population has been consistently neglected
by traditional breast cancer screenings. When cancer strikes younger women, it is typically a
more aggressive form and is less likely to respond to treatment. There is currently no other routine screening test for women under 40. Thermography is an ideal test for this age group considering it is a radiation-free screening.
