We were honored to recently welcome three special visitors from the Order of St. Camillus: Provincial Superior Fr. Mateus of Brazil, along with Fr. Lucas and Fr. Gabriel.

They toured our campus, connected with staff and leadership, and shared in the mission that guides our work each day — following St. Camillus’ example of compassion, service and care.

Our community is sponsored by the Order of St. Camillus, a worldwide Order of Catholic priests with ministries in 38 countries. Their visit was a beautiful reminder that our community is part of a global mission united by a shared commitment to caring for others.

Right now, our Robert and Carol Cassell Art Gallery is showcasing the creative talents of two of our residents whose unique works offer a glimpse into their passions and experiences.

Resident Al B.’s photography captures the beauty and unforgettable experiences he and his family have encountered throughout their travels across the United States and the world.

Resident Linda G. brings her creativity to life through quilting, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that she often gives as gifts for special occasions. As Linda shares, “Knowing that something I created by hand can become a part of someone else’s memories is what makes quilting so rewarding to me.”

Their unique perspectives and creative talents are just another part of what makes our community so special!

As a special thank you to our Priority Waitlist members, we invited them to an exclusive evening at St. Camillus! Guests enjoyed live music, a delicious three-course meal and plenty of time to sit back, unwind and enjoy good company. It was a wonderful evening and a great way to show our appreciation for being part of the St. Camillus community.

Assisted Living and Memory Care residents enjoyed a beautiful visit from Milwaukee Ballet! The talented ballerinas performed several dances and shared the history and artistry behind ballet. Everyone loved having a front-row seat to such a special performance.

Aloha from Independent Living! 🌺 Our recent luau brought the island spirit our way, with live Caribbean music, a fresh fruit display, sorbet, festive drinks, and even a conga line or two. Who says you have to leave your house to go to paradise? 🌴🥥

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Milwaukee students recently participated in their annual Draft Day, finding out where they’ll spend their work-study days for the school year. We’re excited to welcome eight students to St. Camillus, including two returning for a second year.

They’ll gain hands-on experience in Recreation Therapy, Pastoral Care, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Human Resources roles, working alongside our team one day each week. We’re looking forward to seeing all they learn and accomplish!
