Infinity Wellness Center Our mission is to help restore healing by finding the root cause of illness without the use of drugs

Infinity Wellness Center, office of Dr. Tenesha Weine-Wards, Dr. Lauren Sanchez, and Dr. Danny VanNoy, specializes in determining and healing the core causes of conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and headaches. They also concentrate on supporting female hormones naturally, pre- and post-menopause issues, infertility, and offers prenatal care as well as care for infants and children. Many patients come to see our Doctors after they have not experienced results with other practitioners. Our success is based on the ability to discover the root cause of a patient's symptoms, at which point we will design an individualized program based on their body's chemistry - resulting in restored energy and enthusiasm for life!

On a low-FODMAP plan and missing garlic? Try garlic-infused oil. The fructans in garlic dissolve in water, not fat, so the oil carries the flavor without them. A reminder: low-FODMAP is a short-term approach meant to be guided by a practitioner, not a forever diet. My Waxahachie clinic's approach to gut health: https://hubs.la/Q04Cp3Br0

Christina Applegate's recent news has many people asking: what if my diagnosis isn't right? According to Healthline, a 2024 review estimated that about 15% of people diagnosed with MS may have another condition. If your diagnosis doesn't match how you feel, keep a symptom timeline, write down your questions, and ask what else could fit. I wrote "What To Do When Your Doctor Gives Up" for exactly this moment. You're allowed to keep looking for answers.

New research presented at the American Neurological Association meeting looked at more than 13 million women. It found that people with endometriosis had 2.3 times the odds of also having migraine. This shows an association, not cause and effect, and it hasn't been peer-reviewed yet. Researchers think the two may share a nerve and inflammation pathway. My takeaway: track cycle-linked headaches alongside pelvic pain. That log helps your practitioner see the whole picture.

Sleep is part of how you support your immune system. In a 2015 study published in the journal Sleep, 164 healthy adults were given a cold virus, and those sleeping under six hours were more than four times as likely to develop a cold. With respiratory season ramping up and the clocks falling back tonight, protect your sleep: 7+ hours, a consistent wake time, morning light, and a screen-free wind-down. Nausea or cramping hours after dinner, sometimes overnight? Alpha-gal syndrome, a meat allergy linked to lone star tick bites, often gets missed because the reaction is delayed. Symptoms that only show up in the gut are among the most commonly missed presentations. Lone star ticks are common here in Texas. Keep a food-and-timing log, and tell your practitioner about any tick bites. Tick-borne tests you may want to ask about: https://hubs.la/Q04Cn_YB0

If you've been eating low-histamine and still don't feel right, there may be more to the story. Mast cells act as messengers throughout the body and release many substances besides histamine. That's why I think a full workup with a practitioner matters more than a single food list. Your body deserves the whole picture.

No-charge class: if you're here, you've probably been exposed. 🏠

Brain fog, fatigue, sinus and immune issues, hormone and thyroid balance, gut, and inflammation. Mycotoxin load can show up as all of these, and it often gets missed.

Join me and Tim Taylor of AirWell Texas, a mold inspector who finally understands mycotoxin illness and gets that it's not just the house, it's YOU. No charge. Thursday, Nov 12, 7:00 PM CT on Zoom.

Can't make it live? Register anyway and we'll send you the replay.
Education, not medical advice.

Most doctor's visits never ask about your house, but your environment matters. Before your next appointment, write down any leaks, musty smells, or past water damage, and notice where you feel better or worse. Bring that list with you. Do you take iron, zinc, copper, and calcium together? These minerals compete to be absorbed in your gut, so taking them all at once may mean you're not getting the full benefit of each. Spacing them out can help. Every body is different, though, so talk with your practitioner about timing that fits your labs and your routine before you change anything.

A new model presented at IDWeek estimates the lifetime risk of Lyme disease at about 13.7% (roughly 1 in 7) in 15 high-incidence states plus DC. Vermont is the highest at 32.5%. In most states the risk is 2% or less, and more than half of the risk builds up before age 50. (This is a conference presentation based on claims data, and it hasn't been peer-reviewed.) If you travel, hike, or have family in New England, do tick checks after time outdoors and keep a log of symptoms like fever, fatigue, or rash to share with your practitioner. Why Lyme is called "the great imitator": https://hubs.la/Q04CnPYC0
