Girls on the Run continues to inspire us. This incredible program is powered by some of the most dedicated people around, and the difference they make in young lives every day is something truly special.

We are sending our biggest Energy Award out to Columbia Valley Community Health for hosting and sponsoring the Girls On The Run - Columbia Valley council for over a decade! Without the support of CVCH, the infrastructure they provide, and the passion employees have shown over the years, we would not be where we are today.

We’re excited to welcome Daniel Camacho-Hernandez to our behavioral health team! 🎉

Daniel is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work Associate (LICSWA) who provides care in both English and Spanish. Originally from Mexico and raised in Washington, he brings a deep connection to our region and a strong passion for serving rural communities. 🌄

Daniel specializes in trauma and is especially committed to supporting Latino and immigrant populations. He is dedicated to increasing representation in behavioral health and expanding access to care for Spanish-speaking, low-income, and underserved community members. His approach emphasizes long-term therapy and collaboration with care teams to support whole-person health. 🤝

He earned his undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Psychology from Central Washington University and his Master of Social Work from Eastern Washington University in 2023. 🎓

Outside of work, you’ll likely find Daniel hiking, fishing, traveling, or training for his next race—he recently started running half marathons. 🏃‍♂️🎣✈️

At Columbia Valley Community Health, Outreach means meeting people where they are. From schools and community events to migrant camps, warehouses, and supporting unhoused and elderly neighbors, our team is committed to making care accessible to all.
Through programs like Mobile Health Clinics, School-Based Health Services, Girls on the Run, and our annual Back-to-School Health Fair, we work every day to connect individuals and families to health services, resources, and support.
💙 Last year alone, thousands of community members were served—and we’re just getting started.

Thank you to our amazing community for showing up and supporting Girls on the Run during our parking lot fundraiser at the Grand Parade this past Saturday. Every act of support helps open doors for girls to participate with confidence and joy.
