Targeting speech clarity while exploring books, engaging in fine-motor activities, getting tactile sensory input, crossing midline, and using playful activities that support the oral movements and coordination to help build clearer speech.

Every activity has a purpose. When children are engaged through play, they’re often building language, motor, sensory, and other communication skills all at the same time.

🚨 Public Service Announcement 🚨

Have y’all had the Chick-fil-A sauce chips?! Because I need to discuss this important development.

I noticed tonight they’re now a side option Will I personally be choosing them over waffle fries?

Absolutely not.

My loyalty to waffle fries runs deep. 😂

BUT. If you love Chick-fil-A sauce, these chips are a solid 100/10. I’ve also found them at , which is dangerous information for someone with my level of self-control.

And because I apparently can’t stop being a feeding therapist 😅…

These are actually a great bridge food for some picky eaters. Sometimes a waffle fry looks too different, but that familiar chip crunch? They’re all in. For my feeding therapy friends…you know. 😉

And for everyone else: they’re just really good chips.

So if you’re making your weekly Publix BOGO trip and somehow leave with 17 things you didn’t plan to buy…

add these to the cart.

That is all. Carry on. 🫡🥔✨

Not sponsored. Not an ad. Just emotionally attached to these chips.

Yesterday, Colton and I spent some time .coffeeco , and it was one of those experiences that sticks with you.

He settled in with books, paper, markers, and all of his big ideas. Before long, he was designing his own restaurant menu, drawing, writing, creating, and fully immersed in his imagination.

One of my favorite moments was watching him make use of the noise-canceling headphones available in the café. Such a simple thing, but such a powerful message: everyone is welcome here, and everyone’s needs matter.

As a parent and a speech therapist, I know how much environments matter. The best spaces don’t just accommodate differences—they celebrate them. Branches has created a beautiful, intentional space where people can show up as their authentic selves, connect with others, and feel like they belong.

And let’s talk about the important stuff for a minute: the coffee was delicious, the pastries were fantastic, and according to Colton, the Sprite was “delish” and absolutely deserves an honorable mention. 😆

Beyond the mission, it’s simply gorgeous. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed—the kind of place where you walk in intending to grab a coffee and end up staying awhile.

Nicole and Kevin have built something really special, and our community is lucky to have it. If you haven’t stopped by yet, add it to your list. You’re going to love the people, love the space, and probably find yourself wanting to come back again and again.
