Yesterday, Colton and I spent some time .coffeeco , and it was one of those experiences that sticks with you.
He settled in with books, paper, markers, and all of his big ideas. Before long, he was designing his own restaurant menu, drawing, writing, creating, and fully immersed in his imagination.
One of my favorite moments was watching him make use of the noise-canceling headphones available in the café. Such a simple thing, but such a powerful message: everyone is welcome here, and everyone’s needs matter.
As a parent and a speech therapist, I know how much environments matter. The best spaces don’t just accommodate differences—they celebrate them. Branches has created a beautiful, intentional space where people can show up as their authentic selves, connect with others, and feel like they belong.
And let’s talk about the important stuff for a minute: the coffee was delicious, the pastries were fantastic, and according to Colton, the Sprite was “delish” and absolutely deserves an honorable mention. 😆
Beyond the mission, it’s simply gorgeous. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed—the kind of place where you walk in intending to grab a coffee and end up staying awhile.
Nicole and Kevin have built something really special, and our community is lucky to have it. If you haven’t stopped by yet, add it to your list. You’re going to love the people, love the space, and probably find yourself wanting to come back again and again.
