National Physical Fitness and Sports Month may be ending, but the work continues.

The workouts, the Pilates sessions, the mobility work, the strength training—none of it is about being perfect. It's about consistently showing up.

As a physical therapist, I see it every day: the people who make the biggest improvements aren't necessarily the most talented or athletic. They're the ones who stay committed to quality movement and hold themselves accountable to the process.

Small efforts, repeated consistently, create lasting change.

Keep showing up. Keep moving well. Keep investing in your health.

Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, cookouts, and time with family. It’s a day of gratitude and remembrance for those who gave everything in service to others.

As you spend time with the people you love today, take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we often take for granted and appreciate the simple things.

Take a walk. Get outside. Move your body. Laugh with family.

Some of life’s greatest gifts are found in the moments we slow down enough to notice them.

It’s National Physical Fitness & Sports Month, and tonight our family is celebrating our town’s new team with opening night at the ballpark. ⚾️

Sports are more than just competition — they build strength, confidence, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits. Whether it’s baseball, walking the dog, strength training, or playing in the backyard, movement matters at every age.

As a cash-based physical therapist, I love helping active adults and athletes stay healthy, move better, and keep doing what they love without relying on quick fixes.

Moms are really good at taking care of everyone else.

Schedules. Meals. Appointments. The mental load no one sees.
And somewhere in the middle of all of that, they often stop paying attention to their own body.

The back pain gets ignored.
The exhaustion gets normalized.
The “I’ll deal with it later” becomes months… sometimes years.

This is your reminder that caring for yourself matters too.

Not because you need to do more.
Not because you need to be perfect.

But because your body deserves care, support, and attention just like everyone else you love.
