Dr. Zelenak was selected as one of only 60 Ophthalmologists in the USA to implant the new Alcon TruPlus intraocular lens implant. Today he was the first Ophthalmologist in the Midwest to utilize this lens. Patients will achieve excellent distance vision with an extended depth of focus that will enable them to see their computer monitor and dashboard. Standard lens implants do not provide this. The TruPlus will not eliminate the need for reading glasses. It will reduce the need for glasses for near while providing excellent distance vision.
