My heart is so full thinking about James and the journey he’s been on. Over the last two years, I’ve had the honor of supervising him — witnessing his growth, his dedication, and the way he shows up with such sincerity for his clients. It’s been beautiful to watch him become the clinician he is today.

But beyond the professional side, getting to know James as a person has been a gift. He is one of the kindest, most light‑filled humans I’ve ever met. He brings warmth, gentleness, and genuine care into every room he walks into. I’m so grateful to have him with me at Ivory Lotus Therapy, doing work that matters and doing it with heart.

As the owner of Ivory Lotus Therapy, my roots are in Bosnia, and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunities the United States has given me to build a practice that supports healing and community. My heart is in both places, and today I’ll be cheering for both teams with pride.

Our hearts are so full as we prepare to bring our new mental health clinic to City of Clive. We chose this spot because it is right in the heart of our surrounding communities—central, easy to get to, and welcoming for everyone.

Our deepest passion has always been to make high-quality, compassionate care truly accessible. Being here means we can be closer to you, our incredible neighbors, and provide a safe, warm space where you feel supported every step of the way.

We are overjoyed to announce a beautiful milestone in the journey of Ivory Lotus Therapy: we officially passed our first Site Plan meeting with the City of Clive for our upcoming new build. This brings us one step closer to creating a space that truly reflects the heart of our practice — a calm, spa‑like sanctuary designed for healing, connection, and community.

Beginning this August, Ivory Lotus Therapy will bring together our West Des Moines and Waukee offices into one thoughtfully designed space. This new location will allow us to offer a more unified, intentional environment for both our clients and our team.
