We had Tanya, a local celebrity in the animal rescue community, and a few small, furry friends visit us last week during our State Fair month activities. Tanya brought her rabbit, two chinchillas and a sweet pup for us to snuggle, and she has several more rescued animals at home!

Over the last day and a half, 349 residents and team members came together for our annual EMPOWER Wellness conference. This years theme was "Awaken Your Senses".

We connected through hugs, learned of ways to improve our vision and hearing. Found out how to enjoy food through taste and learned about the scents of plants (just to name a few things).

We want to thank our awesome culinary team for a healthy lunch, our wonderful presenters, and the conference planning team. It was another successful year!

What a perfect day to visit Rose Farm in Norwalk. 🌺

We enjoyed strolling through the gardens with over 100 kinds of flowers, enjoying their special lemonade and coffee, and listening to the incredible story behind these 25 acres of heaven!
