Last week, individuals from our clinical leadership team attended the National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration (NADONA) in Long-Term Care 39th National Conference to learn about industry trends, clinical best practices, and network with peers in the field.

We recently hosted our annual Life Safety Meeting bringing together facility maintenance team leaders from across our communities. The event gives these teams the opportunity to hear the latest trends and education from our vendors, inspectors and others in our industry.

During the event, we were able to recognize our teams at Chariton Specialty Care, NorthCrest Specialty Care, Odebolt Specialty Care, Westwood Specialty Care, and Cherokee Specialty Care for achieving a deficiency-free Life Safety Survey.

The Life Safety Survey is a comprehensive inspection to ensure that the facility aligns with the National Fire Protection Association Life Safety Code & Health Care Facilities Code Requirements. Passing this regulatory inspection with zero violations shows the commitment and dedication of these teams to ensuring quality resident care at all levels. Way to go teams!
