I want to take a moment to thank these incredible women who are supporting our June 10th Integrative Health Speaker Series event!

These women said yes to being part of something that brings women together to learn, connect, and feel more empowered in their health.

What I love most is that these aren’t just “sponsors.”

They’re women and businesses who care deeply about what they do. Many of them are building something meaningful right here in our community, and they show up with that same intention in how they support others.

When you come to the event, you’ll have time to connect with them, learn about what they offer, and experience that energy firsthand.

It’s one of my favorite parts of the night... women supporting women.

Let’s Talk: Toxins and Detox — Understanding Exposure, Supporting Your Body, and Making More Intentional Choices:
Exploring everyday toxin exposure, detox pathways through a functional medicine lens, how toxins are stored and released in the body, and how stress and unprocessed emotions build up, along with ways to support their release

📅 Wednesday, June 10th | 6:30–8:30 PM [doors open at 6 pm]

🎟 $27, in bio or at the door!

This struggle opened the door to a whole new way of living 🌸 🪴🌱.... and I wouldn’t change a thing.

It’s hard to believe we’re just days away from the final Integrative Health Speaker Series event of the season!

Every time I put together one of these panels, I’m reminded how fortunate we are to have access to such incredible experts right here in our community.

What makes these events special isn’t just the topic.

It’s the people.

Each panel is thoughtfully curated with handpicked experts who bring different perspectives, experiences, and areas of expertise to the conversation.

For our June 10th Toxins & Detox panel, we’ll be joined by:
• Isabel Walls, PA-C, IFMCP, discussing how the body processes and eliminates toxins, the role of digestion and liver function, and practical ways to support detoxification pathways.
• Sophia, founder of Detox Your Dome, helping us navigate ingredient labels, marketing claims, and practical ways to reduce harmful ingredients in everyday products.
• Jill Vetstein, LICSW, exploring the connection between stress, emotions, the nervous system, and emotional detoxification.
• And I’ll be sharing insights on fat loss, toxin release, digestive support, and important considerations for those using weight loss medications.

What I love most is that these aren’t four separate conversations.

Together, they create a much bigger conversation about health, healing, and the many factors that influence how we feel every day.

If you’ve been thinking about joining us, this is your sign.

I truly believe this is one of the most important topics we have covered this year.

Let’s close out the season together!

Our bodies are amazing, truly!

We have sophisticated detoxification systems. The liver, digestive system, kidneys, skin, lymphatic system, and even sleep all play important roles in how we process and eliminate substances.

But, and it’s a BIG but...modern life has undeniably changed our cumulative exposures through food, plastics, household products, environmental chemicals, chronic stress, disrupted sleep, and sedentary living.

We are unpacking this, and more, at the next Integrative Health Speaker Series panel on June 10th: Let’s Talk; Toxins and Detox — Understanding Exposure, Supporting Your Body, and Making More Intentional Choices

Each speaker is approaching the topic from a different lens, which is exactly what I wanted!

Sophia brings extensive knowledge around personal care and household products and has built an entire platform around helping people navigate these choices in a more informed and approachable way.

Isabel will be speaking more deeply about detoxification pathways and what support can realistically look like from a functional medicine perspective.

Jill brings an important conversation around emotional stress, stored experiences, and the nervous system.

I’ll be focusing on toxins stored in fat tissue, what happens during fat loss and toxin release, digestive support and elimination, obesogens, and some of the considerations that become especially important during intentional weight loss and while using weight loss medications.

I know it’s going to be an incredibly informative and thoughtful evening.

Join us as we close out Season one of the Integrative Health Speaker Series on June 10th in Westborough.

I am honored to speak at Practice Better’s upcoming May 14th summit: Practice Forward: The Modern Nurse Live.

If you’re a nurse, NP, or have (or are building) a team that includes one - we have something coming up you’ll want to know about.
- and we built it around one question nurses in functional medicine are asking right now: what does a truly thriving functional nursing practice look like? Clinically, financially, and sustainably.
Hear from:
⭐ Lorri Kercher, MSN, CRNP, AFMCP - NP with 25 years in traditional medicine who made the leap after her own health crisis
⭐ Melissa Schreibfeder, BSN, RN, BC-FMP - on how to read functional lab results the way conventional medicine never taught you
⭐ Dr. Brigitte Sager, DNP, IFMCP - on how to integrate functional nursing into your existing practice without blowing it up and building from scratch
⭐ Dr. Isaac Jones - on building a functional practice that gives you genuine financial freedom without burning out
⭐ Plus a live panel with RN Beverly Mazza, and NP Lindsey O’Shea talking about what a functional practice looks like, and how they made the shift.

Three hours. Built specifically for nurses ready to go further.
📅 Thursday, May 14th | 11 AM – 2 PM ET | Free

I had such a thoughtful conversation the other week that I wanted to share with all of you 🌿

For this episode of Everyday Wellness with Nurse Bev on Westborough TV, I sat down with , an interior designer whose work focuses on creating homes that feel calming, supportive, and restorative to live in.

This conversation will have you reflecting on how much our environments really affect us!

So many of us are carrying stress, mental clutter, overstimulation, and exhaustion.

Sometimes we focus so much on nutrition, exercise, supplements, and hormones that we forget our homes are influencing our nervous systems too.

We talked about:
✨ how our spaces can impact stress and mood

✨ signs your home may be contributing to overwhelm

✨ simple ways to make your environment feel calmer and more supportive

✨ creating spaces that actually help you exhale a little

I think many of us are craving that feeling right now.

This conversation felt grounding, practical, and really comforting. I’d love to know if this topic resonates with you too 🤍
