🔹 How you speak to your children is powerful, your words, tone, will dictate whether your child feels safe and respected or threatened and degraded.

It is important to know that you are helping shape their inner voice which shall be with them in their adulthood. Hopefully, this voice will be respectful and will foster self-compassion and self-love.

Today I invite you to speak to your children as you would like to be spoken to, with a more loving, comforting and patient tone of voice.

🔸 La forma en que hablas a tus hijos es poderosa, tus palabras, tu tono, dictarán si tu hijo se siente seguro y respetado o amenazado y degradado.

Es importante que sepas que estás ayudando a formar su voz interior, esa que les acompañará en su vida adulta. Esperemos que esta voz sea respetuosa y fomente en ellos la autocompasión y el amor propio.

Hoy te invito a que hables a tus hijos cómo te gustaría que te hablaran a ti, con un tono de voz más cariñoso, reconfortante y paciente.

Mira, con ojos de cariño a la persona que empezó el 2022 y compárala con la que comienza este 2023. ¿Qué cosas aprendistes? ¿Qué relaciones has mejorado? ¿Que hábitos positivos has implementado? ¿Qué cosas buenas y lindas SI pasaron?.

▫️ Sometimes we cannot understand why people decide to end their lives. The picture we see outside is so different than what’s going on inside. They are in SO.MUCH.PAIN. It’s unbearable to them, and they just want to feel better. As hard as it sounds, this is most likely what’s going on for them.

▫️ If you notice a friend or family member struggling, don’t stay quiet. Offer your help and shoulder and don’t be afraid to voice your concern to them and the people closest to them. A good support system is crucial.

▫️ Find a therapist that can help, or call 988, the su***de helpline here in the US.

▫️ A veces no podemos entender por qué la gente decide poner fin a su vida. La imagen que vemos fuera es tan diferente a lo que pasa dentro. Sufren MUCHO DOLOR. Es insoportable para ellos, y sólo quieren sentirse mejor. Aunque suene duro, lo más probable es que esto sea lo que les pasa.

▫️ Si notas que un amigo o un familiar está pasando apuros, no te quedes callado. Ofréceles tu ayuda y tu hombro y no tengas miedo de expresarles tu preocupación a ellos y a las personas más cercanas. Un buen sistema de apoyo es crucial.

🔹 What is Conscious Parenting?

To be “conscious” or mindful is to be aware—so we can identify the difference between reacting to our children’s behaviors and responding from a place of calm. It’s all about the ability to be in the present moment in any situation that arises as we parent and not let the situation take over our emotions, instead, we take over the situation.

Let your kids know regularly how accepted and appreciated they are simply for being themselves. In my opinion, one of the most important goals of parenting should be creating a safe space for our children to be in touch with their uniqueness and develop their individuality.

Concious parenting invites you to honor your child’s individuality, while setting healthy boundaries for their development.

🔸 ¿Qué es la crianza consciente?

Ser "consciente" o estar atento es ser consciente, de modo que podamos identificar la diferencia entre reaccionar a los comportamientos de nuestros hijos y responder desde un lugar de calma. Se trata de la capacidad de estar en el momento presente en cualquier situación que surja mientras somos padres y no dejar que la situación se apodere de nuestras emociones, sino que nosotros nos apoderemos de la situación.

Haz que tus hijos sepan regularmente lo aceptados y apreciados que son simplemente por ser ellos mismos. En mi opinión, uno de los objetivos más importantes de la crianza debería ser crear un espacio seguro para que nuestros hijos estén en contacto con su singularidad y desarrollen su individualidad.

La crianza consciente le invita a honrar la individualidad de su hijo, al tiempo que establece límites saludables para su desarrollo.
