First, thank you. 🤍
Over the last 2.5 years, this little community has grown in ways I never could have imagined. What started as a simple hope to create a space for movement, rest, and nervous system support has become something so much bigger — a community of people showing up for themselves and for one another.
Because of your support, trust, encouragement, and willingness to try something new, Ataraxis has been able to grow. And truly… I cannot thank this community enough.
With growth comes change — and as Ataraxis continues to evolve, it feels important to create a little more clarity around expectations so these spaces can remain supportive, sustainable, and protected for everyone involved.
I’ve officially updated the Ataraxis Policies, including things like cancellations, late arrivals, retreat commitments, private sessions, alcohol-free events, and practitioner safety.
✨ Please take a moment to read through them and comment your initials below once complete. This helps make sure everyone sees the update and helps spread the word throughout our community.
Thank you for your patience, your kindness, your trust, and for allowing me to do work that means so much to me.
I truly could not have done the last 2.5 years without each of you. 🤍

ATARAXIS POLICIES
Ataraxis is committed to creating calm, supportive, and thoughtfully held spaces for rest, movement, healing, and connection. The following policies help maintain sustainability, fairness, and clarity for all practitioners.
Registration & Payment -
Payment is required at the time of booking to reserve a practitioner’s space in classes, workshops, retreats, events, or private sessions.
Cancellations & Class Credits
Group Classes
• Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will receive a class credit to be used within 60 days.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before class, as well as no-shows, forfeit payment.
Workshops, Series & Special Events
Due to planning, supplies, and limited availability, purchases for workshops, series, and special events are non-refundable. No credits will be given for missed sessions in a series.
Late Arrival Policy
To protect the experience for everyone in the room, doors are locked 2 minutes before class begins.
Late arrivals are considered a missed class and are not eligible for refunds or credits. This policy helps preserve a calm, uninterrupted environment for practitioners already settled into practice.
Alcohol-Free Environment
All Ataraxis classes, workshops, retreats, and events are 100% alcohol-free.
Ataraxis spaces are intentionally designed to support presence, nervous system regulation, meaningful connection, and authentic rest — without the pressure or expectation of alcohol.
Whether a practitioner chooses not to drink, is sober, sober-curious, healing, or simply seeking a different kind of experience, all are welcome.
Private Sessions
Payment for private sessions is due at the time of booking.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, as well as missed appointments, will forfeit payment.
Practitioner Responsibility & Safety
Practitioners are encouraged to honor personal limits and practice at an appropriate pace. Participation in movement, meditation, breathwork, yoga, wellness activities, and retreat experiences is voluntary and undertaken at the practitioner’s discretion.
Practitioners are responsible for informing Ataraxis of any injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy, or limitations that may impact participation. By participating in offerings, practitioners acknowledge responsibility for listening to their bodies, modifying as needed, and seeking medical guidance when appropriate.
By registering for and participating in Ataraxis offerings, practitioners acknowledge the inherent risks associated with physical movement, wellness practices, travel, and group experiences, and voluntarily assume responsibility for participation. Practitioners agree to release and hold harmless Ataraxis Yoga, its owner, instructors, facilitators, venues, and collaborators from liability for injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation, except where prohibited by law.
Retreat Policies
Retreat deposits are non-refundable and secure a practitioner’s space.
By paying a retreat deposit, the practitioner acknowledges a commitment to pay the full remaining retreat balance by the stated due date.
• Remaining balances are due by the listed due date.
• Retreat payments are non-refundable, but spots may be transferred to another participant if attendance is no longer possible.
• Credit/debit card processing fees are non-refundable.
• Retreat pricing reflects advance planning, accommodations, meals, materials, and contracted services; therefore, no partial refunds are provided for early departure, missed activities, or unused portions of the retreat.
Certain retreats require a minimum number of participants to run. If a retreat is canceled due to low enrollment, practitioners will receive a full refund.
Additional retreat details may apply and will be outlined on each retreat registration page.
A Gentle Reminder
Ataraxis exists to create spaces where practitioners can slow down, reconnect, and care for themselves in a supportive environment. These policies help honor the time, preparation, and energy that go into each offering while keeping experiences sustainable for the community.
No pressure. No performance. Just clarity. 🤍
✨️ Please comment your initials below once read. Thank you for helping us keep this space clear, supportive, and sustainable for all.
