Residents at South Bay at Mount Pleasant, a Liberty Senior Living community, recently enjoyed a beautiful summer afternoon celebrating the one-year anniversary of the Model Yacht Club.

Gathering lakeside, residents showcased their model yachts, shared laughter with friends and neighbors, and took in the peaceful waterfront views that make the setting so special. The celebration also featured refreshing beverages from Salty Dog Café, adding a festive touch to an already memorable day.

At Liberty Senior Living, we’re proud to see our communities creating meaningful connections that extend far beyond their walls.

At Wellington Bay, a partnership with the Els for Autism Foundation is doing just that. Through a 10-week Work Experience Program, young adults with autism are gaining hands-on experience in culinary and administrative roles building confidence, developing valuable skills, and taking important steps toward future employment.

It’s been equally impactful for the residents and team members at Wellington Bay, who have embraced the opportunity to connect, mentor, and learn alongside these participants.

This is what purposeful living looks like in action—creating opportunities, fostering inclusion, and strengthening the communities we serve.

From the outside, Wellington Bay looks like any luxury senior living community in Palm Beach County.
