Every donation has the power to save lives. ❤️

Silver Bluff Village was proud to partner with the American Red Cross for a community blood drive, collecting 26 units of blood and welcoming three first-time donors.

We are incredibly grateful to our dedicated staff and local supporters who helped make this event such a success. The response was truly inspiring, and we're excited to share that another blood drive is already in the works!

Monica Bartle is celebrating five years with Oak Forest Health and Rehabilitation Center!

“I have had the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles within nursing administration. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I oversaw facility-wide testing, managed years of state mandatory daily documentation, and organized the facility's first COVID-19 vaccination clinics for patients, staff and families. Over the years, I transitioned into admissions and ultimately into patient referrals, appointments, and transportation coordination for outpatient services including dialysis, surgeries and routine medical care.

As a mother of two young sons and two adult daughters, I value the family-focused culture within our facility that has allowed me to build a rewarding career while maintaining balance within my personal life. My favorite part of working for Oak Forest/Liberty Health is the incredible team I work alongside every day. We are like pieces of a puzzle - each bringing unique strengths and together creating a successful caring home for our residents."

“I began my career at Liberty as a Computer Support Specialist in 2016 and transitioned into management approximately three years ago. This progression has given me valuable perspective on both the technical and leadership sides of our operations, allowing me to better support my team and the organization as a whole.

I have always enjoyed working at Liberty. Over the years, I’ve built strong relationships and made lasting friendships. Early on, I recognized that this is a place where I could see myself finishing my career one day.

I am passionate about healthcare IT because I know the work we do truly makes a difference.
